Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible clearly teaches us that baptism is the first step of obedience after making a commitment to Christ. Baptism allows a Christ-follower to communicate to the world their heart-felt commitment to Christ. In Scripture, we see that people were baptized after they made a decision to follow Christ and baptized by immersion to symbolize the death, burial and resurrection of Christ.
