Audio/ Visual and Lighting
The AVL team works hard to make sure that the stage, audio, and lights are set and that everything looks and sounds great. From adjusting microphone levels to projecting song lyrics on screen, from setup to takedown of equipment, this team makes sure things are perfect.
The children’s ministry serves families with children between the ages of 6 months through 5th grade. Whether you are holding babies in the nursery, teaching kids in a classroom or welcoming families at check-in, we promise you’ll have a fun and rewarding experience serving the Lord. Background checks are required for all adult leaders.
The connection team is the first point of contact when entering our church and seeks to make guests feel at home. This team is made up of the following positions: parking lot attendants, donuts and coffee, greeters, ushers and the security team.
The events team is responsible for the set-up and take down of equipment for church events. This equipment includes: tables, chairs, canopies, water coolers, kitchen supplies, and trash pick-up. There are many other ways you can help too including decorating, food preparation, and clean up.
The Women’s Ministry has partnered with Forgotten Children to minister to victims of human trafficking and prostitution. This ministry is open to women only and training is required prior to serving.
The M.E.A.L.S ministry prepares and delivers meals to His Place members and families who would benefit from a helping hand during a life altering event. Volunteers cook and/or deliver meals on a regular basis.
Mo’s Bag Food Pantry
Mo’s Bag distributes food to the community who are in need. Volunteers are needed to help organize the food pantry and distribute the food. Some lifting is required.
The motel ministry visits various local motels to encourage, pray, and care for working poor and transitional homeless individuals and families living in weekly motels. Volunteers serve meals, distribute supplies and pray for members of the community.
Prayer team members meet at church every other week to pray for the congregation, pastors, leaders, and the community. Members must be available to pray on location at people’s homes or hospital rooms if necessary. This is a wonderful time of seeking God’s love and power in our lives and church.
Ignite Youth is for youth in 6th through 12th grades. Leaders are needed to encourage and guide students as they develop their relationship with God, as well as help coordinate activities, events and fundraisers. Background checks are required for all adult leaders.
