What is Narcotics Anonymous?
- Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a free 12-step recovery program for people suffering from addiction and abuse of narcotics.
- Participants follow a set of recovery steps to achieve and maintain abstinence from drugs including alcohol. Many people use a sponsor to help them through the process.
- Becoming a member is free. The only requirement is a desire to stop using drugs.
- NA is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender, or ethnicity.
- All members remain anonymous – this takes away the stigma of identification and recognition and allows participants to be more comfortable in their recovery.
- NA welcomes non-religious backgrounds.
When do we meet and what do we offer?
- Narcotics Anonymous meets in the Prayer Room, upstairs, every Thursday evening at 7:00 pm.
- If you’ve never been to a meeting but are interested in attending, you can get more information by downloading this pamphlet, Intro to Meetings
